To support, through national, sub-regional, regional and international co-operation, the establishment, strengthening and development of national human rights institutions in order to enable them to more effectively undertake their mandate of human rights monitoring, promotion, protection and advocacy.
7th Conference of African National Human Rights Institutions- Morocco
The Conference theme is "Peace and Justice: The Role of National Human Rights Institutions. It will take place from the 3-5 November 2009. Morocco Advisory Council on Human Rights (CCDH) in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights and the Network of African Human Rights institutions are organizing the event. Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie and the Association Francophone des INDH (AFCNDH) are also supporting the conference.
